The Inner Lakes FCU presents college-bound high school seniors with the opportunity to compete statewide and “credit union-wide” for scholarships to either a two- or four-year accredited educational institution.
What is the application process?
Step 1: Stop in to any of our offices to request a scholarshipapplication form. If the student is not a member of the credit union, please request a membership packet as well. All scholarship applicants are required to be New York credit union members.
Step 2: Complete the application form, write an essay, and obtain therequired transcripts along with the signature of the student’s parent or guardian.
Step 3: Return the completed form to our office no later than the late January due date (listed on the application).
There is no fee for submitting the application, but those applying must be:
Members of the Inner Lakes Federal Credit Union;
College-bound high school seniors at the time of application to either a two- or four-year accredited educational institution;

In early spring, applications will be judged against others submitted from all over the state by the New York State Credit Union League. Winners will be announced in April. The state-wide competition will grant a number of scholarships – and the applicants among our own credit union will be competing for two (2) $1,000 scholarships, two (2) $500 scholarships, and two (2) $250 scholarships.
